Corn Fed Mafia (CFM) was created in 2004 by a group of friends in Gorham, New York. Gorham is home to a little over 4,000 people and a lot of cows and corn. The abundance of corn in the town led to the name Corn Fed Mafia. CFM had a vision to share their passion for stunting and riding sport bikes with the world. The group stunts and rides sport bikes, quads, dirt bikes and “fiddys,” but they are aware that not everyone knows how or is able to stunt and ride. CFM plans to bring the sport to the world by their DVDs and the Wheelie Machine. The DVDs let the viewer share in the experience with the riders. The Wheelie Machine lets the viewer turn into the rider and experience a wheelie first-hand. CFM brings the Wheelie Machine and their DVDs to shows all over the East Coast to share the sport. CFM travels to bring the sport to a wider audience, but they also hold an annual party in Stanley, NY where the audience comes to them. YardFest is a chance for CFM to share the sport on their own “turf.”

CFM wants to bring the sport of stunting to more people without causing havoc. Stunting is not their hobby, but their passion and they want more people to experience that passion for the sport. Stunting is assumed to be a reckless and dangerous sport. CFM wants to prove that when it is done properly, it isn’t as dangerous as some may imagine. The Wheelie Machine is one way that CFM has made the sport safer. The Wheelie Machine was created to teach riders how to properly and safely ride a wheelie, and to bring the experience of riding a wheelie to those who can’t actually ride one. The Wheelie Machine is a custom built, one-of-a-kind machine. The Wheelie Machine gives the rider full control of the bike, so they experience what it is like to actually ride a wheelie. CFM takes the Wheelie Machine to shows where a variety of riders have the chance to experience a wheelie. The Wheelie Machine has seen a wide variety of people including children, old women and people in wheel chairs. The Wheelie Machine can be seen all over the East Coast when CFM attends shows, as well as on the DVDs and at YardFest.

The DVDs are just one more way that CFM is bringing the sport of stunting to a whole new audience. As of April 2009 there are four DVDs in CFM’s collection. The DVDs consist of:
“Foundation”
“The Next Level”
“Sacrifice”
“Survival”

The DVDs include clips of CFM members stunting, riding, crashing and goofing around. They also include scenes from YardFests, the Wheelie Machine and from CFM’s travels to different shows. The DVDs are action-packed and feature great music. The newest DVD, “Survival” even contains a music video from Cry to the Blind. The DVDs were created to show the audience the skill, and humor behind the real side of stunting.

YardFest is the annual CFM party that is held in Stanley, NY. The party attracts CFM fans from all over, whether they ride themselves or just enjoy the show. The party varies every year, but some favorites include “fiddy” racing, quad racing, the Wheelie Machine, stunting and boxing. Each new party brings new attractions such as a live concert from Cry to the Blind, a heckler clown, and jell-o wrestling. CFM celebrates the sport of stunting at YardFest and it gives the fans an opportunity to celebrate with CFM members.

During the summer of 2009 they will put on a stunt show at an event held by a local police department, where they will receive the chance to prove that stunting can be done safely. This event is among many shows that CFM will be a part of. CFM continuously films, so more DVDs can be produced. The future looks bright for CFM as they continue to expand the sport of stunting.
